Joseph P. Monzo
Joseph P. Monzo is a seasoned municipal finance professional with over 40 years of experience in public administration and financial management. As Principal of JPMonzo Municipal Consulting, LLC, he provides expert guidance to local governments in CFO hiring, financial planning, and compliance. His career includes leadership roles such as Chief Financial Officer for South Brunswick Township and Acting Director of New Jersey’s Division of Local Government Services, where he oversaw critical financial operations and policy development.
Joseph’s contributions to the field extend to academia and publishing. He authored Municipal Finance Administration and has taught municipal finance at Rutgers University. With a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Drexel University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers University, Joseph combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to deliver innovative solutions for municipalities.
Dedicated to advancing municipal finance, Joseph is actively involved in professional organizations such as the NJ League of Municipalities and the Government Finance Officers Association. His work has shaped policy, improved operations, and enhanced financial stability for numerous public entities.
Kathryn Monzo
Kathryn Monzo is a seasoned expert in public administration and financial management with over two decades of experience. She specializes in financial strategy, organizational development, and resource management, successfully leading large teams and managing budgets exceeding $100 million. Kathryn holds advanced degrees in Public Administration and Teaching, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and English.
Throughout her career, Kathryn has driven impactful initiatives, including municipal consolidations, strategic planning, and succession development. Her ability to streamline operations and foster collaborative environments has earned her recognition as a transformative leader.
